The Bateleurs engages a consultant, Joan Cameron, on a full-time basis as its Office Administrator. Joan manages the membership records, assists with the co-ordination of missions and the production of the newsletter, and attends to all other administrative aspects of the organisation. Joan has many years experience as a senior administrator or operations manager with a wide range of South African and international non-governmental organisations and academic research institutions. She has worked with The Bateleurs since October 2005.
